Wearing a tie is so sad

It's over a mile to school, and straight uphill most of the way, hence the scooter. And the button-down shirt with a tie feels like it's STRANGLING ME, IT'S STRANGLING ME, I'M TRUE MOMMY, IT REALLY IS, hence the long face.

I think that's the best first-day-of-school photo ever. Too bad the price of the photo was that he had to be strangled to death.

ah yes, Uncle A and Uncle G were (are?) in agreement! but the strangling stops when you're... 18!

No clip on ties for the younger grades?!

Perrin, I experience the same phenomena and I'm 63. I don't know how I got through 12 years of school wearing ties. I think the clip-ons worked and we had bow-ties then!

Dave says that! The "I'm true" part... love it :-) (Dave says "Thank you very much for throwing me under the bus")
