Museum of Nostril History

We got a book about dinosaurs at the library, and it was all about Barnum Brown, the famous dinosaur fossil-hunter from the turn of the century who discovered the first T-Rex fossil ever discovered and put it up for display in the Museum of Natural History in - where else - New York city.

So P-roc asked if we could go look for that fossil and see if it was still on display. So we did, and it was! It was pretty cool.

The rest of the museum was pretty cool too.

Coolness. L. loves ours here; we only just recently discovered it. They even have a room that simulates what NM used to be like, you know, back when it was tropical. Kind of a teeny contrast with today, right?!
