Cyclists

This is Fort Greene Park, home of the Prison Ship Martyrs Monument, which commemorates the 11,000 who died while incarcerated in British ships anchored in Wallabout Bay during the Revolutionary War. As their bones eventually came free from their shallow graves they often washed up on the shores of Brooklyn and were re-interred in this park.
