What do you eat?
P wants to know where everything comes from. When he's drinking a glass of milk:
"Where does dis come from, mama?"
Me; "You know this one, milk comes from..."
P: "Cows!"
Me: "Exactly."
When he's drinking water:
"Where does dis come from, mama?"
Me: "Um. From molecules? I don't know, I guess it comes from rivers. And rain. And the ocean."
P: "And ice!"
Me: "Uh, yes. You're right."
Yup. He's got the basics down. So then when he makes certain obvious mistakes, you have to be a little confused.
P: "What do horsies eat, mama?"
Me:"Oh come on, you know what horses eat. What do they eat?"
P: "Ice cream!"
In all fairness, he had a perfectly good explanation for that one. He said that a little boy brings the horsie an ice cream cone. When I asked him where he had seen that, he said "in a book." And when I asked him which book, he said (duh, mom) "in a ABC book".
Well of course. Silly me.

Dude...I can't wait until we can do stories like this +/or take pictures.
I mean, how fun is it to read about 'prepping' for baby and losing the plug.
Happy Mother's Day!

Trippy...

What does a P-Rock eat? Does he ever eat hot dogs? That'd be a fun one to explain... "well, son, how do you feel about meat substitutes packed with sodium and fat?"
Miss you guys.
